  1. We pray for you all the time. I KNOW how difficult this is and we so admire you and David’s strength and courage through the most difficult of times. Wish we could ease the burden and carry it more often for you.
We cry with you! Love, Mom and Dad

Thank you for sharing your blog and prayer requests with me. Ken and I have admired you and David, as well as the whole Butler clan as you all navigate various stresses, burdens and hurt with such strength, faith and humor! I can only imagine the range of emotions that you must go through on a daily basis, but know that I and so many others are praying for all of you!! Thanks again.

  3. Jill, you and your family are in my daily thoughts and prayers. Thank you for this blog and the list of prayer requests. May God give you a surplus of strength, wisdom, and patience, to sustain you as long as you need it. My heart aches for you. You and David are angels among men. God Bless You.

Jill, thank you for your transparency and for helping us pray in specific ways. You are such an amazing person! You are truly one of the kindest, nicest people I have ever known. Believe that. Yes, you will hear Sarah say, “Thanks, Mom.” It will be worth it all!! ((hugs))

Jill, I don’t want to miss the chance to let you know that I often pray for your family knowing the often difficult path God has called you to. So thankful for your example of sacrificial living in front of our church family and my own. Love–Heidi

I do not completely understand your daily frustrations, but I am praying for you and your family. May God bless you through family, friends and His Word to encourage, strengthen and empower you with wisdom and discernment. God bless Kendall through her words of concern and reflection towards Sarah. Love you

Praying your eye and dentist appointments for Sarah go well and that you will have more fun moments of finding “lost” items. 😀

  8. Hey Jill,
I love the way you give us glimpses into your life with the struggles of not just four kids [from a mom of four!] but autism and ‘other needs’ as well! Thanks for the specific ways we can pray! I bring you up before God often, [He’s quite familiar with your situation!], and love you to pieces! Even if YOU cause trouble in Kroger! Hugs!!

    1. Thank you, Karen, my sweet friend! Love my dear friend and I am so thankful for your prayers!! (yes, Kroger was funny! I found out I had a tag that was not deactivated on something I was going to return that day in my purse–I was setting off alarms a lot that day! Whoops!

Rejoicing with you on Sarah’s growth and success this past year. I know that you struggled with whether this school was the right choice for her, but it sounds like she is really blossoming. I’m sure that a lot of that has to do with the great family & friends that she has, as well as the constant prayers being said by the multitude of prayer warriors praying for Sarah AND you!! Thank you again for allowing us to be a part of this journey with you and seeing God’s graciousness and love through all of you!

  10. Laura

Always praying! Thank you for helping me be specific before the Throne of the One who made you all and has your names engraved on His hands. Love the sistah!

  11. Cheryl

Excited about this new “special needs group” Sarah is attending. Praying it will be a great blessing for her and you! Will also pray that Sarah will learn to understand the value of things so there will be less waste.

Thank you Jill for “What if and If Only”. You always touch my heart in real and genuine ways. These two twins knock on my door all the time, and unfortunately, I allow them to enter. Your message really sent me a reality fact — I allow them to enter and I do have a choice. No longer are they welcome, praying God will give you, me, and all your followers the wisdom and discernment to not even look out the door, let alone open it.
Praying for the school year for Sarah, and for your adjustment to having Jim off to college.
You are the best! love and hugs, Jane
